Reimbursement webinar now available for MAG members
A recording of a ‘Get Ready for the New Reimbursement Landscape’ webinar that the Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) recently hosted for its members and their practice staff is now available on a password-protected basis on MAG’s website.
The event featured Elizabeth Woodcock, a leading third party payer and practice management expert who has focused on revenue cycle management for more than 20 years.
“This event enabled participants to gather the knowledge they need to be successful in the coming year as they navigate the new reimbursement landscape,” says MAG Director of Third Party Payer and Health Policy Susan Moore. “It provided a fast-paced, cliff notes version of the requirements of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) – as well as an overview of the 2017 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.”
Moore adds that Woodcock also addressed, “The new CPT codes, the fall-out from the ICD-10 grace period, and how to avoid significant cuts in Medicare pay.”
