MAG to host ‘new reimbursement landscape’ webinar
The Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) will host a free ‘Get Ready for the New Reimbursement Landscape’ webinar for its members and their practice staff from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6.
The event will feature Elizabeth Woodcock, MBA, FACMPE, a leading third party payer and practice management expert who has focused on revenue cycle management for more than 20 years.
“This event will enable participants to gather the knowledge they need to be successful in the coming year as they navigate the new reimbursement landscape,” says MAG Director of Third Party Payer and Health Policy Susan Moore. “It is going to provide a fast-paced, cliff notes version of the requirements of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) – as well as providing an overview of the impact of the 2017 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule.”
Moore adds that Woodcock will also address, “The new CPT codes, the fall-out from the conclusion of the ICD-10 grace period, and how to avoid significant payment reductions in store from Medicare.”
The webinar will also feature a Q&A session.
MAG members are encouraged to forward this email to applicable practice staff.
Registrants will receive a confirmation email that contains information about how to join the webinar.
