MAG applauds lawmaker for introducing measure to address distracted driving
The office of Georgia Rep. John Carson (R-Marietta) has released a press release addressing H.R. 282, a measure he addressed to create a House study committee on distracted driving.
The press release includes a quote from Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) President Steven M. Walsh, M.D. , who says that, “The Medical Association of Georgia thanks and applauds Representative Carson for initiating this much-needed study committee. Distracted driving has been one of MAG's patient safety priorities during this year's legislative session, it’s an issue that clearly warrants additional attention, and we look forward to participating in the study committee.”
