More than 100 people attended the Accreditation Workshop for CME Providers & CME Networking
in the Southeast, which was presented by the Medical Assocation of Georgia and Florida Medical
Association. The June 12 and 13 conference was held in Savannah.
The first event on the workshop agenda was 'CME as a Bridge to Quality' presented by Steve Singer,
Ph.D., Director of Education, Monitoring, and Improvement for the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
During the afternoon session, Floyd Pennington, Ph.D., the president of
CTL Associates gave a lecture on 'Performance Improvement and Point of
Care CME: Practical Applications and Case Studies.'
